Dimpling is a chair-side procedure that the dental part of your dental insurance may pay for, even if you don’t have orthodontic coverage!

Micro-vibrating devices: Micro-vibration devices, used daily, help with comfort and predictability and speed of treatment.
We recommend that every braces patient get a Munchies-Vibe device for their braces and every clear aligner patient get a V-Pro device (included with your SureSmile Clear Aligners).
Even our Dimpling patients should use a Micro-vibrating device on a daily basis.
The vibrating Munchies-Vibe device, seen in the video below, can help you get the most out of your braces treatment.
Our goal is for every braces or Invisalign patient to use a Munchie-Vibe. Our SureSmile Clear Aligner patients get a free V-Pro by PROPEL included with their SureSmile Clear Aligners.
Daily use of a Micro-vibrating device helps with comfort and predictability of tooth movement. It helps move your teeth into your clear aligners, which is how clear aligners work. It also helps with comfortable and more predictable tooth movements for our braces patients.
The Munchie-Vibe device was developed at a top orthodontic school and is designed to be used once a day for 12 minutes. Here is a video that explains the Muchies-Vibe:
Other vibrating devices for aligners cost over $1000 and do not include the munchie component and are therefore less effective.
The cost for the Munchies-Vibe is less than $190 the last time we checked. This is less than a fifth of the cost of the less-effective aligner seating devices.
